Unbelievable email system at IRS -- sounds like something circa 1999! --

Demanding anonymity, the official said he had been trying to assemble an archive of his own email while in government, but underlings told him there were gaps of months at a time. When we asked what the excuse was, he said: "I can't get a straight answer. You know the bureaucracy." We told him that if he'd document his experience and email it to us, we'd print it. Credibility? That's something the US government has lost, along with integrity, honesty, and common sense good judgment --

NSA, DEA, IRS Lie About Fact That Americans Are Routinely Spied On By Our Government: Time For A Special Prosecutor - Forbes: "Think about what the current Attorney General, Eric Holder, could do to bring down these reporters who cover – sometimes in ways the Obama Administration doesn’t like — the conduct of American foreign policy. At this point, it’s plain to see that the Obama Administration has no intention of honestly fixing this mess. So it’s time now for Congress to act. A good first step would be to appoint a Special Prosecutor with wide power to subpoena Administration officials, and to bring criminal indictments where appropriate. Congress should then begin the process of reforming surveillance law to make absolutely clear that the NSA has no power to conduct warrantless mass surveillance of Americans."

Obama and Plouffe turning IRS controversy into a personal, nasty fight - why?

I personally thought the IRS scandal had little to do with President Obama or the White House--but now I am beginning to wonder with the ridiculous statements of Carney and Plouffe--is this a sign the White House is cracking up--I have never seen such BS (even the Clinton White House at the height of the Lewinsky scandal had more composure than what is being shown by the Obama team)--

Obama administration used IRS to target conservative groups

News from The Associated Press: "according to a draft of a watchdog's report obtained Saturday by The Associated Press that seemingly contradicts public statements by the IRS commissioner, senior IRS officials knew agents were targeting tea party groups as early as 2011. The Treasury Department's inspector general for tax administration is expected to release the results of a nearly yearlong investigation in the coming week."  (read more at link above)
